Fire Risk Assessment
Under the Regulatory Reforms (Fire Safety) Order 2005 all Employers are required to carry out a Fire Risk Assessment of any premise they occupy.
A fire risk assessment is an assessment which looks specifically at the risk of fire starting in a workplace, the potential spread of fire based on material stored and the building structure and then considers and control measure in place to prevent or limit the effects of fire.
The complexity of the fire risk assessment will depend on the type of work carried out and the nature of the premise itself and therefore the cost involved in each Fire Risk Assessment will vary.
